Simon Payn: Hi. My name is Simon. I am the president of Ready to Go Newsletters.
I wanted to answer a question today that I get quite often from people who are interested in signing up for my print newsletter service, and that is how do I get my newsletters printed and sent out?
You’ve got several options. The way I developed the service was to give you flexibility, so you have several choices.
The first is to send them out yourself. You can just download them, customize them and print them out from your own office printer. Print as many or as few as you want and put them in an envelope, or use a self-mailer format, sticking them together using tabs. Then, simply put them in the mail.
That is a great way if you’ve just got a few to mail or you want to mail a few every day – if you want to keep your costs down, or if you want to customize individual newsletters for individual clients. Imagine, for example, you get a new prospect who came into your sphere in the last couple of days. You can quickly print a newsletter tailored for that prospect, and send it to them.
That’s one option.
The second option is to get a local printer to print them for you. Companies such as Kinko’s or your local copy shop can do this really well. You can just send them the file, or print out the file and take it to them, or put it on a CD and send it to them, and they will handle it for you. A 4-page newsletter, for example, can be printed on 11-1/2 x 17 inch paper and folded into regular newsletter size. This can be done very cheaply. They can do that in color, or they can do that in black and white.
Alternatively, you can use a commercial printer. You can find one in your neighborhood. They’ll be great for doing large quantities of newsletters, particularly if you want color newsletters. They can also handle the mailing for you, so they can do the job from start to finish.
Alternatively, I can help you with the customization and the printing. If you join our Silver Service, we do the customization for you, we add in articles for you, and we handle negotiations with the printer. We handle sending the file to the printer. Basically we do everything for you so you don’t have to worry about it.
There are several other printing options that I’ve put them on the website, including the name of another printer that I can recommend to you.
The idea behind these newsletters is flexibility, everything from doing it yourself to hiring a full-service printer. If you have any questions, just give me a call a] 1-877-976-6368 or email support@readytogonewsletters.com.
